2025-04-07 21:58:47 +0000 UTCBen is correct! In the anime, they adjusted May's appearance, so it doesn't make sense that she was in Resembool at that time. In the manga timeline, May was probably trying to gather information about Ed, so she went to Resembool, then traveled to Central from there. After that, Yoki saves May in Central, and she teams up with them. In the anime, they moved the team up scenes from Central to the East City area because May’s story was originally supposed to begin in a mining town called Youswell (which Yoki used to own). However, since they cut the Yoki chapter at the beginning of the show, they made these adjustments.
