How Do You Fair, Eclair? - December 2022

Have you been swept up in the holidays like I have? I hope it's been good for you! This time every year I begin reflecting on what I would like to do with my art the following year, and I'm still considering it. On the one hand it would be cool to push a little harder on the nsfw art and be able to offer some premium items for sale. Why sell at all, you ask? It's kind of weird, but it's easier to stretch myself in terms of giving a piece my all if I think of it as a professional product. Then on the other hand what if I didn't do any of that and just kept having casual fun? 😅 Doing things casually, I approach Patreon as a tip jar, you know? Everything is available with the lowest possible donation, but I'm also not offering you anything special this way. It seems like a missed opportunity for both of us, no?

I'm still really thinking about doing that 1 page of comic a month thing I mentioned before. As I cleaned up my files this year I found several 😳👉👈 stories of sketched out comics. I wonder if I could challenge myself to condense these into 6 or 12 page stories that can be made throughout the year.

Also I am once again thinking about other nsfw friendly platforms. I post exclusively on Twitter, but it's not a good idea to put all my eggs in one basket. It's been a pleasure getting to know some of you, and it would be good to have other established places to connect. That said, let me know where else you think I should plant myself that accepts nsfw art.
