A few Slow Mole carts for sale on Tindie

I just put up the first batch of Slow Mole Famicom carts for sale on the electronics site Tindie. We're making more as we speak, so if they're sold out just register your interest on the waitlist or send me a message and I can let you know right away when they're in stock. And of course, there's a discount code for patrons. Also, if you feel you need registered shipping with tracking, there's an option for that as well (but you need to select it when you place it in your cart).

Yes the plan is to make a version with clear shells for the NES. I wouldn't advice putting this in a front loader unless you put it in one of those NES shells with a Famicom adapter inside (like the one I used for the first prize in the Slow Mole speedrun event). https://twitter.com/Checkoofilm/status/1494422148072550407

Awesome design. Will you have a NTSC version? Maybe a naked board can be problematic for the front loader?

Thanks! Fixed the link. The idea is to make a NES version with clear shells as well. Naked PCBs are a bit unusual, though not unheard of for stuff like mini synthesizers. (The board designer Kristofer mostly works with audio product design when he's not designing Famicom boards.) These have been trough some rough testing though and I haven't managed to break on yet.

This is quite a fantastic and unique design! I didn't realize the PCB wasn't meant to be in a shell — now I know why you put so much effort into the design. (Though I suppose it would look nice in a transparent shell as well.) FYI, the link should be https://www.tindie.com/products/slowmoledev/slow-mole-famicom-cartridge/
