The main cast is setup, that was the goal of season 2, hench the backstories. S3 is a lot more straightforward with some additional fleshing out of other important characters, but not as crazy as season 2.

I don’t think it was censored but more like Echidanas va wasn’t casted yet so they added it later. Crunchyroll just tends to upload the earliest version and don’t update them that’s why translation errors like the jealous witch or echidna saying envy witch factor when it’s supposed to be sloth haven’t been fixed years later still

Will there be less backstory in season 3. That really made it hard for me to enjoy season 2. Im sure they had a LOT of plot points to jam in, im just hoping the majority of that is done now and season 3 will be tighter more like season 1

True if they watched the Crunchyroll version. I still dont understand why Crunchyroll removed the voice. Well then, please go on another more underground site and watch those scenes at the beginning again to get the real version. It's a crime they censored her voice -_-

I don't think the version they watched had the voice. The voice was added in another version after Season 2 was being worked on.

Keep the voice of the one stating Puck's rules in mind. Lot of people forgot about it with the delay between releases but i think you go straight into season 2 after this, so make a note about it.

Something interesting from the Light Novels that isn't mentioned explicitly in the anime is how rare black hair is in this world. The author mentions it several times. So that adds to how out-of-place both Subaru and Emilia are.

hey guys, or any moderator that may inform them of the content, I want to let you know that there is a serie called REZERO BREAKTIME, these are short 2 minute episodes, that, just like the OVAs, are cannon and add bits of World Building. For each ReZero Episode, there is a breaktime episode. For an example, after watching Season 1 Episode 1, you should watch Breaktime Season 1 Episode 1, which will add a little bit of information on Episode 1, which may have been cut from the main anime. For Season 1 there are: -> 11 Breaktime Episodes, which correspond to ReZero Season 1, Episodes 1-11 -> 14 Episodes called PETIT but those are filler funny 2min episodes, they don't have to watch it. For ReZero Season 2: -> 25 Breaktime Episodes, which they should watch alongside the main episodes, these, in particular, add a lot of context
