Holy hell.... I have watched you guys' reactions for The boys and now Mushoku tensei over the last week, and You guys have now become my favourite reactors... And I ahve watched like, 20 or 30, I have lost count. I love the depth you guys go into your discussions, and the respect you guys give to the material. Can I recommend Golden Kamuy? You will love it! It is Japanese historical fiction, mystery, adventure, comedy all rolled into one. You'll love it, with so much to analyse too.

2024-01-07 04:09:06 +0000 UTCA couple things to think about regarding Rudeus's reincarnation and the Man-God's purpose (no spoilers - I haven't read the manga but have seen all of S1): The Man-God said in E9 he can't send Rudeus anywhere outside of "this Six-Sided World." What part of Rudy's reincarnated "universe" or "world" constitutes the Six-Sided World and what would sending Rudeus somewhere else within it look like (both for us and for Rudeus)? The context of the above scene also implies that the Man-God couldn't send Rudeus back to "our world" where he died originally, as it's not part of the "Six-Sided World." The Man-God said he isn't the one who reincarnated Rudy into the Six-Sided World, so who did? Man-God says the Wicked Dragon God is better at that sort of thing, but didn't outright state that's who did it. Does he know who did? If not - why? Isn't he a god? What does being a god mean in this universe? Also, how common or rare is reincarnation? Is it a known thing within this universe or is it a myth? Is Rudeus the only one? If so - what makes him special? If not - who decides and what are the parameters? The show (so far) has made the details of the reincarnation very casual. Man-God brushes it off saying the Dragon God is "better" at it, implying they are both capable of it with varying proficiency. It's basically taken for granted and just accepted that Rudy reincarnated here but is there more to it than just one (of multiple) god's whim?
