Yes, clearly already the main character is VERY flawed and has some serious baggage from his past life in the real world, but its also clear he has a lot of redeemable qualities. Also not a spoiler to say cause you guys watched episode 3 that yes right on the money about how is trauma isn't completely healed and that the next thing would be to make friends, which is the exact focus for the next episode. Also I know fanservice and ecchi type of stuff in shows isn't exactly your normal taste or thing that you watch but so far you both seem to be dealing with it fine and honestly I would expect a little bit of desensitizing to it as the series goes on because believe me... the horny does not end in Mushoku Tensei.

2023-01-13 20:38:13 +0000 UTCI'm glad you're already seeing that our protagonist's past is being used to explain why he acts the way he does. Unfortunately, some people are under the delusion that the show uses it to JUSTIFY his actions, which is completely different.
