Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Uncle Ruckus leaving y’all speechless lmao. Along with what has already been said about R Kelly’s trial in the early 2000s, it was pretty much an open secret how much of a predator he was. He groomed and married Aaliyah when she was 15 and he was 27, among other sins. People will defend listening to him with the “separate the art from the artist” thing, but so much of his music is suspect in retrospect. Hell, he wrote Aaliyah’s “Age Ain’t Nothing But a Number”, how more obviously disgusting can it get? Okay enough with the dark gross stuff. You probably recognize R Kelly’s attorneys voice because he’s one of the most legendary voices in American entertainment. He was voiced by Adam West (RIP), who was Batman in the 60s live action Batman show, Mayor Adam West in Family Guy, and several dozens of voice and live action roles over his 6 decade long career. I just noticed one of the people protesting against Kelly bares a striking resemblance to Dr. Cornel West lmao. Great reaction to one of the most iconic episodes of The Boondocks. This isn’t even the tip of the iceberg of how much insanity this show will get into
