There's nothing like a hometown Test match to give us the chance to up our wardrobe game, without the limitations of living out of a satchel. We reckon we did a decent job across the four days, that so nearly ended up being five.
It was a pretty special week in Melbourne, packing in various podcast recording and editing sessions before Christmas, having the day itself with family, balancing the Test match with the festive possibilities of those few days when everyone else we know is on holiday, including a Final Nerds meetup in Collingwood with some friendly faces, and then with the early finish, both of us able to hit the town together on the night of the 29th for a euphoric dance-off with no need to temper it to allow for the following day.
It has been an energy-replenishing final stanza in a fulfilling but demanding year.
Couldn't have done it without all of you. We're at a new record of 705 supporters on Patreon as of today, and we'd love to catch SK Warne's 708 before long. If your cards are due to expire soon, do check it out so that we don't lose anyone at the end of the month.
We have some exciting plans on the table for 2024, from the small things like getting a proper website back up and running, to merch, ad control, new program ideas, the works. It's tricky for a small operation but we're doing our best.
The Boxing Day Daily videos are on the YouTube feed, the audio eps are at one, two, three and four.

It's blurry, but good!
If you hadn't heard on the show, very excited that we have the game's greatest finisher joining us for the Sydney show on January 7th at the Comedy Store in Sydney. Night five of the Test, if it goes that far. Grab a ticket for that here. Message us about group discounts.
As part of Adam's rerelease of Greatest Season: This is India, but not at all as they are today. A quarter of a century ago, before their financial might dictated practically every decision made in the global game, the men in blue were just another cricket team. A very talented team, with a group of prodigiously capable batters, but a side that would ultimately fail to reach the business end of the tournament in focus. To explain that progression, looking back before, during and after Ninety9, there could be nobody better than Harsha Bhogle. With Dan Brettig (The Age) and Shannon Gill (Code Sports).

We also had a new Story Time drop today, but that can go in the next Wednesday email when we actually get back to sending them on Wednesdays. And we'll record our traditional New Year episode on the morning of the 31st.
Happy 2023 to you all, as it comes to an end - you make our world better, truly. So thank you.
