Time for some REAL TALK WITH RAY™

I've been doing a lot of thinking recently. You see, I have a severe lack of 2 things that are negatively impacting the way I do things: the most obvious culprits, time and money. I thought I would have more time to do more work and squeeze in more things to get more art done, but that's doesn't seem to be the case. Naturally, this translates into a decrease in options for food on the table. I needed to think of something, and the idea of shutting down the patreon was a stillborn in my head. Reason being that not only do I enjoy making things for others (hell, its the whole reason I started the damn thing) but, as it was put so succinctly for me, "its nice to get something from you every month", and I'm not about to disrespect that. And so I propose a compromise:

I will continue to provide monthly rewards by lowering and consolidating tier prices with the compromise of offering colored sketches like the ones I've been doing for my OCs (ngl, they have been very fun and a pretty good much faster alternative of getting ideas out there) instead of the full colored renders that I have been doing so far. Here's a breakdown of changes:

• Investors and Contributors will do the fusion dance into one $5 Tier with the benefit of both tiers combined.

• Harbingers: from $20 to $10 with the same benefit of one colored sketch with character performing any action.

• Prophets: from $40 to $20 with the same benefit of one colored sketch with 2 characters performing any action. I'm thinking of offering a pick between this and a simple animated loop as a reward for the monthly, up to you.

By doing this not only are you gonna save yourself some dough every month, not only are you still gonna get a lil something for your troubles helping support this dumb mf every month, this is going to be an opportunity to do more work on the same amount of time, ultimately translating into me having more time to sink into commissions to balance out income (making me more available more often) and a hell of a lot more time doing more personal projects that include but are not limited to short animations, more OC kink and gross stuff, and putting more time into personal projects that I'm not going to reveal until I have something to show for.

Of course, these changes are not going to be out of the blue and effective immediately. If anything, these will reflect next month. This month will continue normally. But as always, you people have a say in the matter. So I want to hear you out. Do you agree? Do you disagree?
