Dark Souls Part 7!

Part 7 is finally up for you :) This was so much fun!

Dark Souls Part 7!

Loved the victory lap ending! I'm always too on edge when I play souls games to properly explore, but also feel compelled to pick up every glowing orb I can see :)

Your doing amazing but one tip I wanna give is to branch out from your fighting style a little bit. You've really locked yourself into 1 handing with a shield and only using r1. I know you used r2 like 1 time and decided it was too slow but its a longer range, higher damage, straight line attack that would do wonders for you in tight areas like hallways. Also switching to 2 handed will really increase your damage and its only one button press. 1 handed and 2 handed weapon moves also often have differences that make them better for different situations. All weapons also have roll moves and backstep moves that you can use right after using roll and backstep that are often quite useful. Also wanted to say I love the videos and will often go sit in my recliner in a completely dark room in the middle of the night with only an out of season Christmas tree and my fireplace for lightning. Grab some snacks and it really sets up a great tone to enjoy a new souls video. Edit: Watched like 20 minutes further and you started playing around with two handing and acknowledged jump attacks after you stopped using them for 2-3 episodes lol.

I would say dex is more reliable, but strength is more memorable. Once you choose your weapon, I think what I want to see the most is what armor you settle with. I would love if you start enjoying armor collecting, mitch-matching different pieces together instead of just wearing one set. Strength and Vigor is your safest bets if you are choosing that sword, and 25-30 endurance should be safe enough to attack and roll consistently with a greatsword. I would remind you to not forget about faith though if you want to use the more exciting miracles later in the game.

you do the same eyebrow scratching thing I do when I get overwhelmed by the ridicules.

You radiate more than the final boss of that one bug game nobody ever talks about.

Loving your playthrough! Quick tip: to backstab, you have to let your shield fully down before pressing the attack button. The animation has to be over. That's why you don't backstab every time :)

That was another great episode, one that for me really solidifies why I like watching you and your content so much. You have the best reactions to things, like when you saw the "dead" notification for the firekeeper or when you first noticed Frampt. It's so fun. And then there's how you play through the game, very methodical, combing out all the secrets and items while still being genuinely enjoyable to watch which I think is a side-effect of you enjoying yourself a lot in the game. Glad you stuck by it, even after your encounter with the Capra Demon. About bloodstains, they're souls that are yet to be picked up by its owner, and they basically transmit to other worlds, with the pool they go to growing over time. I think it's a brilliant mechanic, showing you how a person died so you know that there's either something there, or the owner did something really dumb like walk off a cliff or something. There's some enjoyable ones out there! Can't wait for the next area! There's still a bunch more to do, a lot more to see and a whole slew of bosses waiting to be put down, and seeing how you're faring now, you'll slice through em in no time! I hope you're feeling better, don't worry about us and pushing out content. I think most of us are ok with waiting for a bit if it means you feel good and rested :)

I just wanted to say you have insanely good intuition and observation skills, especially with sound. I love these games to death and in all of your playthroughs you always notice/hear something new that I had no idea about

Was a great episode, made even better by the presence of Walton. I like how you mentioned he had been very knackered and probably wouldn't say or do anything, only for him to wake up and prance about leaving then breaking back in again. It is awesome to see how you don't seem to get very flustered when you die from something like getting hit and knocked off. Cool, Calm & Collected Amber.

Oh lol I didn't even see the thumbnail when I clicked to watch it from my email. The expectation was there, it's what we were all waiting for (muahaha) from the video title. Going back and doing a quick addition at the end was a nice touch. I genuinely hope you feel better and more confident for future uploads.
