my first time uploading "dailies" since i got laid off from my animation job years ago. the majority of the animation will just be these two talking, so here's what that will look like. i want to draw it all on paper to give the final cartoon a more tangible look that will set it apart from every other computer-made animation being made these days. you know how i post the occasional marker sketch? that's what i want the final version to look like when it's colored

i gotta say that so far this looks surprisingly not terrible. maybe thats bc i am setting a low bar for myself. trying not to be a perfectionist about this project. it also helps that i have experience animating a talking sock puppet for my vtuber . well this has been productive. time to sleep
