Back again with Nimona! Blue Sky's cancelled last project after the Disney/Fox merger, revived by Annapurna and Netflix, with animation by DNEG Animation.
If you have yet to see it, here's our thoughts:
Nimona: 9/10 (Doodley), 8.5/10 (Sprout), Recommended. Excellent, fast-paced, great comedy and action, and a lot to love in general -- and it's ability to create a sharp visual style despite everything that happened in production should be commended.
We're gonna try doing these every other Wednesday from hereon, so be on the lookout for the next one in two weeks!
