I've been meaning to tweak my combat playlist for quite some time now. Some folks like to get really granular with how they score each of the modes of combat; they'll have separate playlist for skirmishes, duels, goblin fights, etc. I don't think it's valuable to get QUITE so specific, but I do think it's worth distinguishing between "regular" fights and actual boss battles.
Ipso facto: here's DnD Boss, a collection of epic battle tracks for climactic moments in your campaigns. There's more of those giant choirs, electric guitars, and massive drums than in DnD Combat... in short, more Hans Zimmer and Final Fantasy. Some stuff here is (to be fair) a bit campy, but it's all BIG and INTENSE.
I've added this playlist to my master Spotify Playlist post. Speaking of which: if you haven't checked out my whole range of playlists, definitely consider giving them a listen! While I think the Music d20 tracks on my playlists are quite good, I also would lose my mind if I had to only listen to Will Savino originals. There's lots of cool stuff on these playlists that are worth your attention!
