Finally I managed to finish this artwork after almost two years of delay. I think what took me so much time to get back to it and to set the time to finalize it is the idea of perfectionism, whenever I look back at the progress I see the amount of work that is needed to be done and that would just push me away from committing.

There is also the concept that your new artwork should be better than the one before it, and that creates such a pressure to complete new full illustrations.

And I wont lie, AI dose play a role in making harder to paint XD, I feel that investing time in painting is becoming less important in comparison to the time placed on concept and core ideas and stories.

I am in talk with a writer who is eager to jump on board and do some work on the Skating Giants, so will see how that goes.

As an extra I added some of the 3D I used for this artwork.
