thought it would be cool to explore Melee weapons for close combat in space.

That's why they use spears or trident for example. But, at the same time, you don't have to be realistic or generic about it. But at the same time... How would the physics of the swords or axe benefit underwater... Probably a disadvantage in my opinion. π I'm excited to see what you make. What would be cool... Is a lightsaber underwater. Imagine the boiling water surrounding the swords energy. π€©
