For those of you who have actually played sci-fi TTRPGs though, you know that sometimes things are just fine! Your space ship is functional. Your life support is active. The threats are somewhere else. Your moment to moment gameplay is much less "Xenomorph aboard the Nostromo" and much more...
Whether you're a jedi chilling in a monastery, a pilot repairing his mech, or just a githzerai floating around the astral plane, sometimes sci-fi adventures can be relaxing! Unlike the real world, when you play RPGs, you can imagine a future where things actually end up okay.
