Pure Combat
Added 2020-09-07 15:47:01 +0000 UTC"Generic Tracks" won the track request poll this month, so I've decided to squeeze as many standard tracks into this month (and probably early October) as I can, in between the requisite collaborations and commissions. Now, when I say "standard" I don't mean boring or uninspired, but simply something that you can use in many many different scenarios. I interpret this voting result to mean that a large percentage of you want more tracks that "cover the bases" so to speak, so that you can be sure there will be more than enough tracks to handle the typical events in your campaigns: walking through cities, exploring dungeons, and slaying baddies.
First up on that list of generic tunes is a combat track I've titled "Hordebreaker." I think you can put this track under 90% of combat encounters and it would be totally appropriate. Boss battle against a religious zealot? Perfect. Skirmish with some goblins on an airship? Yep. Shadow monsters in the depths of hell? Why not!
Pounding drums, charging strings, blaring brass, and plucky ostinati (which I really just can't resist). Bread and butter combat that's equal parts Skyrim, Witcher, and Avengers. You know: generic. If you want an all percussion or 0 percussion version of this track, you can find those variants at the Artist Tier and up!
