Myrilight Clocktower | Collaboration with Venatus Maps

I've been really enjoying my collaborations with Venatus Maps lately. In addition to his awesome Illithid Lair map he created for my Arkus Campaign Setting, I've also helped him out a few times with tracks for his Western-themed Great Expanse setting. Here's the third track I've done for this setting: the Myrilight Clocktower, a sort of Gnomish tinker tower on the edge of town. Venatus Maps has provided a zip with maps of the clocktower, including closeups of each individual floor!

As you know, I've also done few "magic buildings" lately ("Ritual Forge" and "Mergo's Beacon") and it's been quite enjoyable figuring out ways to differentiate the different tone of magic. Ritual Forge is ominous, robotic, and occultish, Mergo's Beacon is refined and enigmatic, and this track is mechanical and a bit goofy! This is great for your aloof wizards and technicians. I was inspired for this track by Professor Frankly from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (one of my favorite games with one of my favorite soundtracks). This is a character who can help you if you're able to put up with his seemingly senile personality quirks. I love throwing character like this at my players because 1) they're often funny, and 2) you can speak a bit obliquely about big plot points without giving too much away.
