Well, it's a bit late, but one of the two winners of last month's track request poll was "Muzak d20: Tunes to Shop By." Now, "muzak" is a style of corporate music whose sole purpose is to get people to buy things. It's designed to have more or less no intrinsic value, and to simply function as a psychological nudge toward consumerism. I don't know about you, but when I'm low on DMing ideas, I put my players in front of a shop and do the exact same thing.
My track "Gold Is Meant to Be Spent" is all about those brief reprieves from thrilling adventures. Since this track is meant to be a sort of a vaguely-fantasy version of corporate smooth jazz, it has... fairly niche utility, but after hearing an early draft, my buddy Cze suggested it would be right at home as the backing track to a beach episode. Long and short of it: this track is meant for chill down time. Perhaps those of you who just run Tomb of Annihilation each week will get limited use out of this, but for the rest of us, some relaxing vacation music is just what the doctors ordered.
Folks at the artist tier can get a looping version as well as a lullaby (?) version of this track via the other post I'm about to make. Cheers!
