Desert City

I love desert towns! They're a really convenient plot hook in RPGs because the moment a desert is introduced, the town becomes both a respite and a prison. Want to leave the desert town? Well guess what, you have to go through the desert. From Mos Eisley to Gerudo Town, sandy outposts allow you to introduce Wild West themes or exotic pseudo-Egyptian adventures. You can jump back and forth from monolithic ruins to shady cantinas.

This track is the city variant of "You'll Never Leave Al Ibra." You know the drill: tambourines and handrums, thumpier bass, and less of that expansive wasteland ambience from the original. While the obvious use here is a desert community, this could also fit in for a royal monarch of an exotic land or maybe even a thrilling chase scene on horseback.

I'm rounding out this little foray into specific environments with some jungle tracks next week. Get psyched!
