CAUTION - SCAM ALERT! PLEASE READ

The most important thing to know here is that I will NEVER ask any patrons to message me on Telegram, and I will certainly NEVER ask anybody for money on any kind of messaging app.

This scam involves making a fake Patreon account that looks a lot like my real account (for example, this most recent one is called "Sampson Boat Co 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫") and also making a fake Telegram (messaging app) account that looks like it could be me.

They leave comments encouraging you to message the fake Telegram account. Once they get you chatting there, they will tell you that you have won something and/or ask for money to cover shipping or something like that.

This account is probably already taken down, but there will be more, with other similar names.

I'm sorry about this - please be vigilant and careful, think twice, and never send anyone money unless you're absolutely sure it's going to the right place.
