We also test the autopilot and trim-tab, now that the rudder is swinging freely - and race a friendly Yawl around the Gulf Islands.

Outstanding vid as always! Really enjoyed the more in-depth intro for Marit. It came to mind if she has had a go at playing the Daniel Graham Tally Ho Fiddle? Or, will she give the Captain some help to learn it?

2025-05-29 09:04:33 +0000 UTCJust watched the video. Always impressed by your photography and editing skills but I’m pretty sure Marit has contributed to make them even better. As with others comments, I too concur the Panama Canal is the wisest choice. Though I’m not a sailor I’m a retired engineering geologist who went through the canal last year. Was on my bucket list and didn’t disappoint. Quite the engineering feat in 1914. Enjoy the NW summertime beauty!
