Let's talk about money!

Ok here comes the time to talk about this first year of production and how the next one will be managed.

So first things first, THIS IS AMAZING! A year ago I wouldn't have even dreamed that all this could happen and this is thanks to you all ^^!

So what is the situation :

Since may I've been able to work 100% full-time on my 3D projects without having another job aside because since around April, thanks to Patreon and SubStar supporters, I have been doing around 2500$ a month and it is pretty stable since then.

2500$ means 2000€ and I have 25% direct taxes from my country so that leaves me with around 1500€ a month. For information and comparison, minimum wage in France (where I live) is 1 231 €. For information too, before that in my ex job I was paid around 2500€/month so I'm clearly not doing this for money XD.

I'm not really a spender so it's perfectly fine and cool for me to live with this and if nothing changes, I can continue like that for a long time ^^. BUT! There is 2 major poles where I need to manage how I spend the little extra I can manage to get after my normal life.

First is the upgrade and maintenance of my computer and therefor my working capacities (better tools, better work).  Last year I spend around 350€ to by a SSD and 64Gb of RAM that I really needed for the huge scenes I work with ^^. Next big thing if I don't have to replace anything will be a better CGU.

Second is the external production feature such as Voice Actress, Sound Designers ect... For the all Lara's Capture movie, everything cost me around 2080$.

So you can see here where is the difficulty, in this situation it will be difficult to afford everything needed for the new productions, at least in a reasonable amount of time. Also because I would like to prioritize the hardware to work faster ^^.

So there are many options to explore here and I wanted your views on this matter.

- I could do business as usual and the sound/voices would be done when I'll have the money (so possibly in a long time).

- As Justin (for Lara's Hell's teaser voice over) and Eroyal (for Lara's Capture's OST) showed me, it is possible to have some gifts from people who like the production for the external work. So I could wait for them or centralize the offers to make them coherent, like a commission proxy for VA and Sound designers.

- I could try to do commissions to earn what would be needed but that would mean less time on the main projects.

So what do you think? Do you have other ideas ^^?
(This is not a decision poll, I will not just pick the result and apply it, it is a tool to help my reflection and have an idea of how you feel about this all ^^).

Also, I don't want to dream too much but as some of you may have notice, the lore I am putting in my creations (and mostly in the Book "Devious Arcanes") is very.... Video Game compatible. This is because in the first place, I imagined a huge part of all this as a video game ^^. I really enjoy telling my story with videos/images and I have a lot of things I want to show you but I still have somewhere in my mind the hope that one day, with enough support, I'll be able to have a team to produce more videos and possibly a game ^^.

Anyway, thanks to your amazing support I may be able to at least continue to make 3D porn and work on big projects. So thanks a LOT for this opportunity and I'll continue to do my best to deliver the best 3D porn quality I can ^^.
