Finally!!!
I had no idea, 11 month ago, when I started to play around with these two models to "test Blender" that it would lead to such a result and that so much people would like this.
So here it is, the final and full version of Lara's Capture (plus a little bonus image I liked when I was re-rendering part 01 ^^). Hope you will like it.
It's been a lot of work, and a long road but I wish that this is only the beginning and if you wish with me, it can be. We have almost reached the point where I can seriously think of making this a full-time job and thus produce more content (which I would love to ^^).
Speaking about more content, what is planned for the future?
- Main project :
I've started working on the next big project and I will announce it a few weeks. It will take place in the same Universe/Lore but way before the events of Lara's Capture and will not involve Lara or Tifa. (little clue, Tifa made a reference to the character of the next project).
- Secondary projects :
If everything works well I also want to introduce a new format that would be short videos or images that I would make aside the main production. The idea would be to introduce new concepts, places, rules, lore etc without all the context and everything. Less story, more action ^^.
For that part the freedom of choice in the character and action is a bit wider so I was thinking about making some polls for you to chose between the different options I have (Yes Lara and Tifa are parts of the options ;) ). What do you think ^^?
- More? :
We are far from it but If your amazing supports continues and if the community continues to rise, I already know a bunch of friends (professional animators and artists) that would be interested to work with me to produce even more content!
I have so many stories to tell, I could keep a all studio busy for years XD.
But let's not get too carried away, there is still a long way to go and there is a 14 min movie to enjoy!!

I've watched it four times now, and I I am so impressed by the micro expressions on Lara's face, especially the alternations between fear and arousal in the first two minutes. This is every bit as good as some of Pixar's best work.

We need more artists that push the envelope… I hope many artists take you as an example to also create high quality animations instead of making the same boring loops over and over again… You’ll be incredibly successful if you can keep up this level of quality. That being said, please don’t make the mistake of over-promising and please keep being as transparent with your communication as you are right now. Many artists fall into this trap, first they over-promise, then they stop communicating and then they don’t release anything for months / years while their community slowly loses trust/faith… I’m not gonna call anyone out, people know who I’m referring to. That being said, as of now you’re doing a phenomenal job both animation and communication wise! Keep up the great work my man :D Greetings
