2021-02-11 08:57:53 +0000 UTCJust watched the aftershow (Ty and That Guy) where they explained the marks that Naomi is making. Every time she cycles that airlock, she's losing the volume of air inside(which is replenished from the main cabin). There was a shot a few episodes back of Naomi studying a plaque with the airlock's specifications before she started, so she's using the marks to keep track of how much air she's lost! I'm guessing there's a limit she's worked out where the air would become too thin to breathe.

2021-02-11 05:37:28 +0000 UTCHey, I'm not sure what the deal with the quality is, but it looks about the same as previous ones -- looks like you rendered it at 720p rather than 1080p, but I think that's what you've been doing with all your videos. I did notice that this one for some reason streams by default at 360p if you select Auto, but you can up that to 720. Weird. Looks like you're recording/uploading from a secret undisclosed location (different room than usual and missing pup) so maybe the Internet connection speed there is causing different choices to be made by Google Drive or something. Anyway..... watch the after show on YouTube with Ty Franck and Wes Chatham if you haven't already; they talk a lot about the logistics of that long, continuous shot. They've been doing some amazing cinematography this year, as well as the audio design. They've really upped their tech game this year. There's something in the season finale that I think is even cooler in that regard; can't wait to see what you think of it. Enjoying the reactions and commentary as usual! And hi to Marli, wherever she is. :)
