There are some YouTube videos on amazon prime's channel with "ty and that guy", ty frank and wes chatham where they also talk with other actors and directors of the episode... Go through a review and explaining some things they do in the episode that weren't stated explicitly in the dialogue so I at least missed. They have a great dynamic, each one is about 25 or 30 mins or so, worth watching

About holding your breath in the vacuum: you can't, the air pressure will damage your lungs, you need to exhale (as did Naomi during her jump, as did uncle Mateo when he opened his helmet in vacuum in season 1)

2021-01-29 20:12:33 +0000 UTCRe: Naomi. From what I've read, exposure to the vacuum of space would have a number of effects. One is a pretty massive sunburn - no atmosphere between you and that fusion reactor we're all orbiting. All exposed liquids will boil and air will try to escape from your body so you'll have a massive case of the bends. That's a lot of joint and muscle pain. Naoimi's story here matches the book which depends on a lot of inner monologue to tell the tale. Just from the episode you have to watch a lot to figure it out. One thing that took a second watch was that she's under thrust gravity. She's not wearing mag boots (or I don't hear them) and she's sticking to the ground. Also if you remember from previous eps, the space between the hulls is in vacuum so she needs the suit - but she's losing an airlock of air each time she goes in and out. A while back I went to my mumble high school reunion and met a number of people who had wanted to leave but were still there. It's hard to leave what you know. Especially for someone like Erik who knows his turf from top to bottom.
