Developer Diary - Week 6
Added 2019-12-15 17:04:00 +0000 UTCIt feels like I've not done much this week. My computer has spent most of its time rendering an animation that's still not yet finished.
currently 221 out of 260.
Why is it taking so long? Well rather than render 200-400 iterations and then giving it a plastic low detail denoiser after effect. I'm doing 6000 iterations.
In itself this isn't such a big deal, however Its quite a detailed scene so each scene render is approaching 2 hours. I'm sure you can work out the timescale involved.
Either way. The animation should be completed in the next couple of days and I can get back to rendering more 'normal' scenes.
I've not been slacking on the scene creation, currently have 76 scenes set for rendering. No flashy progress picture this week (it wouldn't have changed from last week).
