Have a listen to a reference and listen to mid and side on those references. Also, vocal ride and maybe.. use the same kick throughout :)

First question:
Generally if the sides are louder than the mids it will feel a little off. I also suggest having a dedicated mid side button or placing your speakers a tad wider so you instantly hear it.
Second question:
Yes, the baw is the cut bass. 25% from the top is fine but if you also have a reverb behind it.. it is like 50 or less. So just keep it in mind. It's fine the way it is too. The sides just have a ton going on at the moment
Third,
Yeah it was a picture of gold and silver teeth ripped out of elderly people dead or alive that the Russians left behind as they fled. Nice and disturbing

Super helpful, thank you Guido. A couple questions:
- do you have a particular range you try to keep out of the sides? or advice on how to balance the sides with the mid? Thats def something I struggle with.
- I think the BAWWW you mention is a cut-bass I made (using the amp/ imager/ eq technique you showed on some earlier vids). Maybe I went to heavy on the stereo image? I think it was sitting about 25% up from the middle of the correlation bar on imager 2 (so towards mono) but should I make it more mono? I know perfect correlation/ mono isn’t the idea with those, but trying to balance. could be volume too.
Hope your family in Ukraine is staying safe man… scary times.
