BBB4 is up now, why is that?

It's completely understandable that you would focus on GOTY for January, the timelines you put them out in was insanely fast. I hope you are able to get some much deserved rest with everything normalizing and slowing down a bit. Always appreciate everything you do.

In my country workers have to take a mandatory 30 days of paid leave per year which they can take anytime they want (provided they call it in advance). I think you should give yourself that at MINIMUM and I'm sure most people here would even agree for more than that because some of you here work day jobs, run YT channels full time, do GIANT STREAMS ALL THE TIME. It isn't my intention to lecture GB about anything but I think allotting leaves and breaks like that should be considered as something other than last resort or exceptional. Thanks for the avalanche of content !

I expect nothing from you in January-early February because I know what a goddamn beast GOTY is. Don't even worry about it. It's not like we're NOT getting content, we just got GOTY and BTD through all of January.

In entertainment, harsh deadlines are the most soul-crushing thing that can happen to a creator. Ideas are cut, scripts are cut short, and it always feels like you could have done more if you just had that little bit of extra time. The great thing about working on the internet is that you get to determine your deadlines, and I think just about anybody would crack under the pressure you put onto yourself. The fact that you finished a project as big as GOTY in the time that you did is, I feel, the mark of a great creator. Take a break, Dan. You earned it.

At the end of the day good content takes time and if priorities had to shift then so be it. So it's okay for this to slip, just take care of yourself.

I figured that's what was up with it. I don't think that anyone, at least on this patreon, would be upset about this. You guys, especially you Dan, put yourselves though hell to give us some of the best content on YouTube and patreon. I'm glad mondo cool is finally wrapping up. Give you guys some much needed breathing room.

You'll always be harder on yourself than THE TRUE fans. Anyone else doesn't matter imo.
