Limiter vs Clipper

In the specific case to dBora. Make two busses. One for Staccato and the other for Legato. Short burst of sound vs Long sustained notes. On the Short sounds plop the clipper on the Long sustained group plop in a limiter. Put them both up the same amount. Then on your main master drop in your last limiter and adjust the balance again with an EQ and a compressor to make the song have transients again.. (head scratch I know but watch the video below)

For anybody reading this. Don't do the above unless you need to hit -2 to -4 lufs. Here is a fun video from 2008 showcasing what I am on about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRyIACDCc1I

I am not against clippers at all, I tend to just fix hard af transients in the mix via a limiter (haha .. I find this funny.. I don't know why)

Thanks for the link. I like how he said (If you need it stupid loud).. Which is kind of it.. I am making a video to explain all this a bit more so everyone can understand a clipper vs limiter

Maybe that Streaky video telling us to use the flatline clipper before a limiter or compressor has a few people off in the wrong direction? He seems to know his stuff,
