He is the angel that protects the visible beings, such as plants, animals and rivers, and the invisible ones, such as fairies. Sometimes this angel is identified as male, other times as female (*here, he is gender fluid)
The name Ariel means "altar," "home," or "lion of God." Some variations of his name are Ari'el, Arael, and Ariael.
