2025-10-22 22:08:51 +0000 UTCHenry Cavill is superb in the role and he plays the character of Geralt perfectly (you did pronounce his name correctly.) I cannot remember if it is explicitly revealed, but I thought that his last wish was to be able to sleep, which is why the camera moved and showed him asleep after Yennefer asked him what he wished for. If getting naked with a woman was enough to let him sleep then he could have done that anytime since the banquet where he discovered that the princess was pregnant with Ciri. Which the Bard hinted might be the cause of his insomnia. That was an indicator that his and Yennefer's story timeline is still in the past, and has not caught up to the "present day" yet. It would be odd if Geralt had not been able to sleep for all of the years that Ciri has been alive.
