Your Name really gotta one of my, if not my favorite movie ever. Objectively, I know there's better, but for me that movie is so important, like it was with this I started to actually enjoy romance in movies haha I don't really know what else to add honestly without going on a way too long rant about why I love this movie so I'll stop there, but I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

I love this anime, it's such a sweet love story, which a cool sci-fi twist. I love how the people are linked via threads through time. I also liked that her family were time keepers, thus the need to keep with the traditions. I loved that her grandmother knew something was up all along. They were able to create that sense of longing and sadness, so the resolution when they meet later on is just perfect. The animation is just gorgeous. The Creator of this had this filmed in 60 fps, such an incredible amount of work, but it created a beautiful smooth transition between frames. The music for the movie was created by Radwimps. They are a Japanese band, but the singer is spent time in America, so he knows English and Japanese. They sing all the songs in Japanese for the original Japanese version (IIRC).
