This is one of my favourite episodes. This series was made before I was born (and I'm no spring chicken) and some of the episodes still stand up just as strongly today as they did back then. This is one of those stories that I clearly remember from watching it as a schoolboy. The "horror" atmosphere made a big impression on me and helped to ignite the flames of a love for science fiction. A fire which is still burning all these years later, with fuel added by Blakes 7, Babylon 5, Stargate, Firefly, The Expanse, Alien, HHGTTG, Defiance, Red Dwarf, Cowboy Bebop and far too many others to mention. It also has one of the best of Bones': "I'm a Doctor not a..." lines of them all.
