I know exactly where you are coming from. It is not just you. I have the boxed set of series 1-3 and I have watched every episode 7+ times, which is almost a record for me since it was made so recently. The only sci-fi series that I have watched more times is Firefly, and that was only 1 series long and made 20+ years ago. I have memories of series 4 of The Expanse which are good as well. I think that Detective Miller and the proto-molecule, with the new planet, were strong attractions there. This series 5 is haunted by memories of a woman gasping for breath doing something that took 3 episodes to come to an end. As for series 6, I must have watched it twice now but I have real difficulty remembering anything that happened in it. When you watch it then it will be the 3rd time for me and I'll try to fix something in my mind. There are many fans online that were quite "vocal" about how the series developed. In the future I think that I will stick with the first 3 series and leave it at that. It was incredibly good back then.

A whole bunch of women came forward with stories about him, there was an investigation, we don't know the details but he was fired. The final was already shot, and they had to fake his death with VFX and a few re-shoots with the remaining actors. They even had to CG him out of the Luna scenes at the end. So ya, not great but something they had to do.
