Yes Luke "was" a Shadowhunter....Lucien Graymark was his name. He was turned when Valentine ( his parabatai) locked him in the barn ( takes away from being a Shadowhunter) The Downworld has Demon blood...Shadowhunters are Half Human half Angel. So Luke is now Luke Garroway in the mundane world. Anything you need to know...just ask....read every book numerous times....and have seen this series uncountable times....lol
