Concur that it was fan-service and not really a story that could stand on its own. As for a "reboot", that word has been thrown around so often but I continue to doubt it. And I think if such a thing followed the non-Shadow-War timeline it would be a disappointment. Some creative endeavors just should not be "rebooted".

Personally I found this movie fairly boring, simply a collection of fanservice cameos with loads of fan fiction (which is ironic since this was made by JMS himself).
