Feels good to be writing another TO related comment! :) Loved your reaction (made even more entertaining by that little wisp of rogue beard :D ) So, we got to see Kol again. Which would have been bloody awesome if it was Kaleb!Kol, who I absolutely adored (one of my top 5 TO characters, easily! And the chemistry between this Kol and Davina was palpable! I loved every single scene between those two in the second season). But instead we got OG!Kol who I am NOT a fan of. I never liked him in TVD, back when I didn't know anything about the actor who plays him, and I liked him even less when I started to learn stuff about the actor. So yeah, definitely now a fan of this Kol returning to this show for this episode. Ugh... Dark(ish)!Cami is so sexy. Don't get me wrong, I loved sweet, human! Cami. She's the kind of person I'd love to have as a friend. But this other side of Cami- this manipulative, cunning Cami is really cool to watch. And it creates a refreshing new dynamic between her and Klaus, which I really enjoy. I don't know why, and it's probably saying something about me, but Elijah killing this witch was low-key (high-key) hot. He is such a contrast to Klaus (not in hotness, mind. :D ). He is usually so very calm and precise when he is his most deadly. While Klaus is like a force of nature, just leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. They are the yin and yang of murder :D Fun (?) fact: That last scene between Hayley and Elijah, was one of Daniel's favourite scenes to shoot. And to answer your question: Yes, season 3 is also my favorite season (but you already knew that :D ). I just love how the past ties so perfectly into the present. The story-telling is really good and the drama...so. much. drama! Love it! (And well, the final couple of episodes are just bloody epic!)
