Don't feel alone in regards to this season, I found myself in a similar situation as you not caring about certain b and c plots.

2024-07-07 23:52:09 +0000 UTCSeason 4 is probably the weakest, but I think it ends strong. Then S5 ramps things up significantly. But I will say if your main interest is the Protomolecule & alien stuff... you may be dissapointed. It's always been the MacGuffin, a catalyst for human drama. That's the show. We will learn more about it, yes, but politics and characters remain the focus.
