What's Happening

What's the big story? A week has gone by since Russia launched its three-brigade "active defense" of Avdiivka. Russian forces have made some marginal and tactical gains, but intensity is slowing down.

What's the second story? The Russian helicopter airbase north of Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia, got hit by missiles and suffered significant damage.
