2023-12-06 18:16:24 +0000 UTCOG Finn is a sweet heart - the actor. I would have loved if he had stuck around longer in TVD to get to know him :(. OG Kol looks a lot like Elijah and he is a good actor , but the new Kol is much more warm and approachable I think? His scoundrel ways are more endearing, but OG Kol when he was devious it seemed a bit more evil?

Love the twist at the end where she had tricked Esther into drinking her blood. And yet another example of Klaus having a badass scene while Christmas music is playing over it, the other examples being the hybrid massacre and killing Mrs. Lockwood in TVD

2023-12-06 16:54:32 +0000 UTCMy opinion of og Kol may be influenced by my dislike of the actor who portrays him and I just like what Daniel Sharman does with the new Kol. He's so good in making him equal parts mischievous, charming and sensitive. But I get why people may be drawn to og Kol :) And as for new Finn, I just like Yusuf's acting style more. It carries more ...gravitas mabe? But I DO love the actor who portrays og Finn. He's such a sweetheart :)

2023-12-06 15:58:25 +0000 UTCI like all of the actors that play Mikaelsons in a different body, but the actress who plays Rebekah in another body I think is the one who most captures the character. Like, Yusuf Gatewood is an amazing actor, but his portrayal of Finn feels much different than Casper Zafer, and the same with the other Mikaelsons who have multiple actors

2023-12-06 15:54:20 +0000 UTCOh and here I go with an other fun fact: They body jumped Rebekah, because (like in season 1) Claire Holt didn't want to stay seperated from her family for too long. So they have to find ways to write her out of the show. And I think this was a really clever way to solve it. Because Rebekah is still in the show, but not in her original body anymore. I absolutely love Claire as Rebekah and she will always be my favourite Rebekah but I think that new actress does a pretty solid job and I'm curious to see if you'll like her or not :)

You know me, whenever we get to see Mikaelson family centric scenes, I am happy. And this episode's focus was pretty much solely on the Mikaelson family. We get the Hailey&Klaus&Hope reunion, we got the bonfire scene, we got great flashbacks, hell I even liked the Hailey and Elijah scenes. Then we got that great showdown between Mama Mikaelson and Klaus with that awesome twist. And the cherry on top- no werwolves!
