While at work, Ginny overhears Padma saying Marcus doesn't want to be in a relationship with her and she proposes MANG go to the party dressed as Britney Spears.
Georgia and Paul go on a date at Blue Farm, but Cynthia sees them.
Ginny meets Hunter's family and finds out she's to be thinking about colleges and recommendation letters.
At the Halloween Fair, Paul talks about his innovative plans for Wellsbury if he's re-elected, but Cynthia reveals she saw him out with Georgia and announces her candidacy for mayor.
At the party, Ginny and her friends shine in their Britney costumes, but Abby makes herself throw up after receiving an ugly comment on her appearance and Ginny reads spiteful comments about her under Hunter's video, burning herself in the bathroom.
A drunk Max tries to get Sophie to make out with her, but Sophie leaves; Bracia comments on Ginny's costume, implying that Ginny can dress up like that because she's white-passing.
Ginny takes Max home and looks on as Marcus takes care of his sister, she later apologizes to him for ignoring him and the two agree to being friends.
Georgia and Paul have sex and Georgia comes home to find her sister Maddie, who she hasn't seen in more than 10 years; Ginny is shocked to discover yet another of Georgia's secrets.
The PI arrives in Wellsbury.
Austin gets teased by Zach and violently stabs him in the hand with a pencil.
Flashbacks reveal how Zion's parents offered to take custody of Ginny but Georgia leaves their house not to have her daughter taken away from her.

When Ginny first joined, Abby mentioned that Sam had been trying to be part of their group (back when it was just MAN) for a long time. The girls never really saw her as one of them — they’d let her hang around, but she was never truly included. Honestly, it came off a little cliquey, as Sam mentioned before. Before this episode, Ginny was the only one who ever showed Sam any real empathy. They weren’t close, but Ginny would at least listen to her. Sam can definitely be performative for attention — like when she told Ginny she “dated” Hunter in middle school (girl… why 😭) — but Ginny still gave her grace. Now, Ginny’s kind of on her own high horse, enjoying the attention — like you said, she’s starting to get “Regina George” energy. So instead of being passive, she’s actively leaving Sam out, like with the Britney Spears-era thing. So yeah, they were never really friends to begin with — Ginny was just more passive. But now she’s joined in on the exclusion, which makes it feel way harsher. What’s funny, though, is it’s a little hypocritical. You could argue that all the MANG girls do things for attention too (like how Abby was acting towards Press at the party; she doesn't really like him — she just wanted attention). So excluding Sam for the same behavior is a bit...
