Schedule September 8-12

You guys. I swear to god, I just fall into a hole when Dan is around. I totally forgot to do this because I've been enjoying his company so much while he's on vacation. Fun fact: it's 100% possible to still enjoy your partner after 25 years.

Anyway, I did 10 or so episodes a day last week so I could spend as much time with Dan a possible. I'm good through Wednesday. (Also, it's crazy how much I can get done when I don't do my own descriptions. But, unfortunately, most of the time, the Wikipedia ones are embarrassingly laughable). Tomorrow, I'm going to spend 5-6 hours getting Thursday done, and then Dan is back to work on Friday, so I'll do Friday then. So, Friday will be a late day of stuff coming out, since it'll be a post the day I react, but it should all be on time.

This week we finish S4 of The Americans and start S5. I'm sure you guys are sick and tired of hearing me tell you how fucking good this show is. This is also one I 100% would never have chosen on my own, so that you Melissa!

Once I post this, I'm going to put up a poll to decide what we want to do when The Fosters is finished. We can not continue it (and prices will decrease) or we can replace it with another show. After we determine what the consensus is on that, I'll do another poll with what (if anything) to replace it with. Once True Blood ends, I am not replacing that. I cannot do one episode a week. I just can't I suck at it. And I don't enjoy it. Even two is a struggle, but a doable struggle for me. When it ends, Novel goes from $10/month to $8/month; and Book Stack goes from $15/month to $13/month.

In other news, I've finished a few other books. I've read Iron Flame (which I enjoyed as much as the first book in the series), Okay, Cupid and Six Months Later (which both got 3.5 stars), and Kill Creatures (which only got 3 stars). I've started, and quit, at least a half a dozen book in the interim and cannot find my next book. Problem is, I don't even know what I want. Sigh. I've got One Perfect Couple and The Rom-Commers next up in my library app, but Dan and I are about to go grocery shopping (so romantic), so I'll give them a go later.

Welcome to NFL season. As much as I'm used to being a losing Jets fan, they gave me hope on the first game of the season. And yeah, we lost. But, I think there are a lot of good take aways. But, I've been burned so many times before, I don't want to think about the positives too hard. 🤣 On a related note: we are roughly 30 days aways from NYR opening day. (The best of all the sports).
