Hart of Dixie 2X14: Take Me Home, Country Roads

So, Zoe is currently the town darling. Everyone is gracious and appreciative for what she did for the town while they had the flu. She's busy receiving accolades, and free stuff. But, she's also working a crazy amount. Leaving Wade with some unresolved lust since they can't find any time to be together. Zoe keeps claiming she's carving out time for him, but things keep coming up and they just can't make it work.

Finally, they get a weekend together at a hunting cabin and Wade is super excited, but Zoe won't put down her damn phone. She's afraid that she's going to lose all the patients that finally like her and they'll go back to Brick. She assures Wade that she's just got to go to where she can get some reception, answers some calls, and then she's all his.

But of course, it's not that easy. She's caught up in the Lavon/Annabeth problem (more on that later) and then one of her patients. Her calls keep dropping thought, and as she's frantically trying to find a signal, she tumbles down a hill and ends up in the mud. When she gets back to the cabin, Wade starts laughing at her, but she claims he doesn't know what it's like. Insinuated that his career is not nearly as important as her's. She stopped talking as she realizes what she's saying and apologizes immediately. And Wade doesn't seem upset. Just sad. He takes her home and this weekend is a bust too.

Later, she meets up with him again and continues to apologize, but Wade tell it she's right. He doesn't have a career. He hates to go to his job. And he's thinking about getting back to the idea of opening a bar, which does make him happy. Zoe is thrilled for him and tells him she plan a night away for them the following weekend. I wish these two could just have a little bit of enjoyment in their relationship. It's always something with these two.

Elsewhere, we find out that not only did Annabeth and Lavon kiss, but they ended up sleeping together. And, Lavon is thrilled about it, but AB feels awful since she knows Lemon is still in love with him. Lavon doesn't understand why she's so upset since he and Lemon have been over for quite some time. Plus, she's happy with dentist guy. But Annabeth knows Lemon better than he does right now.

She tells him that nothing can happen until she talks to Lemon. So, she tries several times, but it just doesn't work. (The first time ends up with Lemon setting her up with her cousin who is in town). Finally, she manages to talk to her at Brick's birthday party (I think that's where it was) and Lemon is devastated. She tells AB that she doesn't think she can ever look at her the same way again. But, I'll say this, S1 Lemon would not have been as civil, so I think she really is working towards Lemon 1.5.

Annabeth then needs to go tell Lavon that nothing else can happen between them until she earns back Lemon's trust. (I don't think that would help the situation, but those are her words, not mine).

We've also got Magnolia scheming to try to embarrass Shelby at Brick's birthday. Lemon tries to talk her out of it (you know, Lemon 2.0 is here now), but Shelby wants to do it anyway. So, she pops out of a cake at his birthday in a sexy nurse's outfit and sings Fever to him. And when all is said and done, he introduces her to the town as his girlfriend and they all seem to like her.

While this is going on, George loses Tansy's dog. And I don't care. Lol.
