The Vampire Diaries 5X21: Promised Land

So Damon is busy torturing Travelers to try to find Stefan and Elena. He doesn't get anywhere, but a mysterious person does show up to free them. Unfortunately, it's after they've been drained of most of their blood. But they are alive.
Stefan calls Damon and tells him they are alive, but he has no idea where they are. They just start walking and trying to hitchhike, but they aren't getting any offers. Eventually, the woman who freed them shows up and offers to take them to Mystic Falls. She's the woman whose husband is trapped inside of Tyler and she's trying to free him.
Caroline is pestering Bonnie about how to save Tyler. She suggests killing him and just bringing him back (along with Enzo) from the other side once Liv does her spell. Bonnie has yet to tell anyone that this spell doesn't actually exist and she's just going to blink out of existence when the other side disappears. She finally confesses this to Caroline, but Enzo is there and he hears also.
The Travelers have started their spell which means, all the magic is fading and rippling out farther away from the source. Elena starts choking on water, both Stefan and Damon are in pain from their gunshot wounds. They make a plan to try to get as far away as possible and regroup (since it takes a while for the spell to ripple outward). Elena and Damon take one car (And sort of, maybe, make up? Stefan told her they are miserable without each other and they should just get back together) and Stefan and Carolina decide to wait for Bonnie.
Fake Tyler shows up asking about his wife (oh yeah, she died earlier when Liv and Luke were trying to kill either Stefan or Elena- a lot happened in this episode). When he's told she died, he and Stefan start fighting and he somehow manages to rip Stefan's heart out. And claims that now, since one of the doppelgängers is dead, the spell should stop. Caroline (and I) were horrified and in disbelief. She's completely grief stricken. I'm less so because I figure they'll fine a way to bring him back. (I also thought Markos killed him during the episode and was very confused, it makes much more sense that it was fake Tyler).
Stefan shows up to Bonnie and asks if she found a way to bring everyone back, and she said, she had it, but lost it (she and Enzo had a plan with the lady who saved Stefan and Elena, but the other side breaking down yanked her out of existence). So, Stefan just passed over.
I'm 100% sure that Stefan is not gone for good. I'm sure we'll somehow figure out how to bring him back (and hopefully Bonnie and Enzo- as long as he turns his humanity back on, I like Damon with a friend). Also, I'm really hoping this means Elena and Damon are back together. I don't care if they are toxic. I like to watch it. Lol.
