Stef, being Stef, pulls some strings with Rita and manages to get her into Girls United. But she's a little squirrelly, a little anxious. Eventually, she steals Callie's phone and calls her pimp crying, saying she got picked up and she's sorry. He tells her the only want to make it up to him is to bring him another girl. So, she starts buttering up to one of the new girls at Girls United. Great. So now Stef is going to have to save a whole bunch of these girls.
Callie and AJ still aren't in a great place. She feels like it's her fault that he kissed that other girl because she's been so wrapped up in her own life. (I mean, true, but it's not like it hasn't been warranted). She decides to hash it out with him and heads over there. Mike is on his way out but tells her she's welcome to wait until he gets out of the shower. She doesn't and tries to hop in with him. And he's not pleased about it. She apologizes and gets dressed. When he gets out he tries to explain he was just surprised. They talk a bit and kiss a bit and it seems like things are okay.
However, towards the end of the episode, Callie and he are playing basketball and she says something like, 'see, I can be sporty too.' AJ realizes what she talking about and point blank asks her if she saw him kiss the girl. She doesn't really answer, but he knows she did. She tells him that when she kissed Aaron it didn't mean anything so she figures it didn't mean anything when he kissed her. But then he tells her that he likes her. Things are easy with her. He loves Callie but everything is so hard with her. I hope this is finally their break up scene.
Mariana is busy trying to make Jesus feel better. She walks in and finds him sketching a treehouse and decides he should start it as his senior project now as he really needs a hobby. They have to pitch it to Drew since it will be expensive. But, he turns it down because he doesn't believe Jesus will actually be a senior next year given all the issue with his TBI. Mariana lies to him and tells him it was approved though, because she can't bear to disappoint him.
Monte is finally gone! Yes! (Although, I'm worried that Drew might end up being just as bad or worse). Even though Lena took responsibility for the queer sex ed, they school board put the blame solidly on Monte. And how did they know? Drew told them. And who is acting principal? If you guessed Drew, you win. So he's a manipulative bastard. Fun.
Oh, and AJ tells Mike he doesn't want to get adopted because he wants to live with Ty when he gets out. So Mike suggests that for right now, Ana and baby take the apartment next door, and when Ty gets out, he and Ty can move in there, and Ana and the baby move in with Mike. AJ tells him there will be no way they can afford that. And Mike tells him all the money the state gives him for fostering him is sitting in a savings account. He was just going to give it AJ anyway, so they can use it to pay for the apartment. Both men seem thrilled with this solution. And I am too. I knew that even if Mike didn't adopt him he wasn't going to just cut him out of his life completely.
