Prison Break 4X16: The Sunshine State
Added 2025-08-19 21:05:13 +0000 UTCOkay. The more I watch of this season, the less I like it. It was my favorite season for the first half, but the back half is not going that great so far.
Michael is taken to some cabin 60 miles away from the Company and introduced a psychiatrist who is supposed to work on recruiting him. Michael wants no part of this. However, the guy tells him that not only is his mom still alive, but she's currently working for the Company. And more of this the Company is not what you think it is bullshit. Okay. Even if you're an organization trying to make positive changes to the world, you're still running around killing people!
Sara ends up getting 'kidnapped' by the general's daughter. (I don't believe for a second that Sara was able to walk out of the hotel room and just hang around waiting for whoever was on the other end of that text without the Company, at the very least, tailing her). She tells her where Michael is and Sara heads off to try to rescue him.
However, Pocket Boy catches wind of this and calls the general to snitch on her. He then calls the cabin to inform them that she is coming and it's best we just stop the recruitment and give him the drugs. (They might kill him, they might not, but even if they don't, they'll totally screw up his brain). The psychiatrist tries to reason with him saying it's only a few more days, but the general insists that where Tancredi is, the rest will follow.
The doctor and some goons burst into the room to inject him with these drugs. But, Michael is no dummy. He knows something is up and has rigged the water heater to blow up. During the chaos, he grabs one of their guns. He demands one of the guys inject the doctor with the medicine and then, handcuff himself to the bed. Michael then takes off.
But, he doesn't have a lot of time. As soon as he gets out of the cabin, two more guys show up. They run inside, uncuff the first guy and grab a golf cart to chase after Michael. For as smart as Michael is, he runs terribly while being shot at. He keeps running directly in front of the golf cart. Just when it seems he's got no way out, Tancredi shows up, runs the golf cart off the road and Michael hops in the Jeep with her.
Elsewhere, the foursome are busying trying to find the guy who has Scylla. Gretchen figures it out first, but doesn't tell anyone. She goes out to meet him on her own and she arranges to meet him later. (I don't remember exactly what was happening here, but she's talking about him paying her to direct the Company away from finding him, I think).
Later, they all meet up with him and his two guys. Self pulls a gun on him and demands Scylla, but then Gretchen heads over to the other side and pulls a gun on Scott. Self calls her every name in the book. She then turns around and shoots both the guys Scott come with. Then, she and Scott shoot each other. Scott dies, and rest of them leave Gretchen for the cops to find. Hopefully we are rid of this bitch.
We still don't have Scylla though. When they are back at the hotel (or wherever they are staying), Scott's phone rings, and Lincoln answers it. There is no response. But we see a woman hang up the phone and she's got Scylla. She claims she's Lincoln's mom.
Eh, I'm just not as exited with this episode as I have been for so many others.
