To have Lady Morella casually drop a quote that could easily be in a book with the greatest quotes of all time: "Greatness is never appreciated in youth, called pride in middle age, dismissed in old age, and reconsidered in death. Because we cannot tolerate greatness in our midst we do all we can to destroy it." Nobody would even expect something like this in a TV show, unless it's just a quote by some great real life author. It makes me appreciate JMS' writing so much. Plus, you have Londo teaching Vir political shenanigans when writing a report. And you have that trickery with the "Chain of command" coming from the General. So many things that are classic B5 greatness.

2022-12-06 16:55:18 +0000 UTCNot sure how into the Star Trek fandom you are, but Lady Morella (Correctly identified as Lwaxanna Troi) is played by Majel Barrett, who's other ST roles include (Number One in the Original Star trek pilot "The Cage" , Nurse Chapel in TOS, and Lwaxanna Troi, and the Voice of The Starfleet Computers in TNG, DS9, and Voyager. She was also the First Lady of Star Trek, meaning she was the wife of Trek Creator Gene Roddenberry. And here, they cast her as "The Wife of the Late Centauri Emperor." Another Trek actor appearing in this that I hadn't put together previously is The blonde guy that runs Night Watch is played by Vaughn Armstrong, who goes on to have a reoccurring role as Admiral Forrest, the main Starfleet Admiral in Star Trek Enterprise.
