Okay, so we've got to deal with the dead body in the hotel room. Philip calls Elizabeth from a pay phone and tells her he needs some help moving files. Paige is suspicious that Philip is cheating as he works a lot of nights, but Elizabeth assures her that is not the case with her dad.
Elizabeth shows up with a giant rolling suitcase and she and Philip start to break all the bones in this poor girl's body in order to stuff her into the suitcase. Elizabeth gets Yousaf to helps and makes sure to snap pictures of him so we've got some blackmail if we need it. Once Annalise is good and stuffed into that suitcase, Elizabeth wheels her out, but I have no idea where they go. Philip makes sure that Yousaf can meet him the next day.
When they meet, Philip tells him he needs the names of all the members in the Afghanistan group. Yousaf claims he only knows first names and they've only met at CIA headquarters, but he'll try to set something up out of the office. Philip scopes out the location beforehand and tells Elizabeth what he thinks the best course of action is.
On the night of the meet up, they are taken off guard when one of the members shows up at the hotel and Yousaf leaves with him in a car. Elizabeth immediately takes off after them, with Philip arguing, in hot pursuit. They chase them to a bar nearby and Philip is pissed that Elizabeth broke protocol and just took off after them. She claims she was not letting that list of names go again. They enter the bar as casual people who are just getting a drink and Philip manages to take pictures of the group, so maybe all is not lost.
Elsewhere, the FBI seemed to have a defector from Russia shipped to them in a crate. She's in America to discuss how awful Russia is. She's busy eating candy bars and being happy and excited. She wants to go sightseeing. But Stan shuts that down telling her they don't have enough security to protect her. And she seems shocked that the KGB could possible get to her on American soil. Girl. They are all here. You're in danger.
Nina is in some kind of a prison camp in Russia (although, we haven't actually seen her do any hard labor), but I guess it's good that she's not dead. I was so sure we'd never see her again. She ends up getting a Belgian roommate who claims she's innocent and that the Belgium embassy might not know she was there, but Nina tells her no innocent people are in this prison. Later, Oleg's dad comes to see her. I don't know why. He's not planning to help her get released. But she does ask him to tell Oleg that their relationship was never pretend for her.
Oleg ends up holding up Stan for his part in getting Nina arrested. Stan claimed he loved her, whether Oleg believes him or not. And, if he wants to shoot him, it will have to be in the back, because he's walking away. Oleg does nothing.
And Elizabeth and Philip are still at odds over Paige. I feel like it's only a matter of time until they can't keep their lives separate anymore and one of them is going to get hurt because their head isn't in the game. Elizabeth tells Philip how she got recruited and immediately told her mom (even though she wasn't supposed to). And her response was, 'go serve your country.' Okay, fine. But, as far as Paige knows, she's American. And serving her country would not mean working for the KGB which America has told her to be afraid of. I mean, she doesn't know anything about that life. What does Elizabeth think is going to happen when she gets recruited? Does she think she's going to happy? Excited? She's going to be confused, reluctant, and upset that her parents have been lying to her.
