Babylon 5 3x3 Reaction

The Berserker Probe plot is a mildly interesting idea, but it is also implemented so badly here. I mean, there is like zero panic on the station for some reason. No one is trying to evacuate, and apparently G’kar and Vir are just “Well, looks like I am getting on a ship and leaving in the middle of this crisis.” They don’t even ask the alien governments for help with the questions. It’s just bad. But literally everything else is so damn good… I still forgive it and enjoy the episode. Haha Franklins stim issue is becoming more prominent and a great relationship with Garibaldi continues there. And any episode that has any type of focus on G’kar and Londo, as expected, is gold. You could spend hours describing why any attention on those two actors/characters is just brilliant. I especially love Garibaldi checking in on G’kar, as we see his friendship shift from Londo to G’kar. Very telling and interesting.

One of my first pieces of Babylon 5 merch was a coffee mug that has Ivanova's line from this episode, 'If I live through this job without completely losing my mind, it will be a miracle.'

"Do you know what I'm saying?" Indeed, we do. And this is still early days for Season 3, it only gets better.

That's the actor's own sword; he asked if he could use it as a prop....

Love, LOVE Ta’Lon!

It's the writing and the acting that makes B5 stick to your ribs, G'Kar and Londo are acted so well that the bar is raised for the other actors, who rise to the occasion; they raise everyone else's game.

We learned to never call Sheridan a coward. And I still love the relationship between him and Ivanova. I absolutely loved the Narn storyline in this, especially the return of Ta'Lon. He now has a name. Just think, last season there were some Narn challenging G'Kar's leadership which luckily got resolved by the Rangers getting the messages needed. Now the Narn not only support him, but believe in him.

I wonder where Sheridan is in your ranking, now.
